Tom McRae

Tom McRae, who recently completed a sell-out tour of the UK, is confirmed to play the V stage for the first time.

His self-titled debut album was released in 2000.

The follow-up, ‘Just Like Blood’, produced by Ben Hillier (Blur and Elbow), has sold over 50,000 copies in the UK since it was unveiled in February and is a bigger, braver and possibly even darker work than its widely acclaimed predecessor.

McRae’s talent is lyrically vivid and musically touching. With his spine-tingling voice and vengeful lyrics soaring over subtle backing, finger-picked acoustics, slide guitar, piano, and some threatening rhythm loops he manages to sound like no-one else at all.
